Keyhole cichlid is a very peaceful cichlid, and go great in a community setup, they are also very easy to keep and great for beginners. Like the Festivum they were one of the original cichlids in the hobby, they get their name from the distinct keyhole pattern on their body.

Gender Males tend to be larger with a more pointed anal and dorsal fins.
