The Clown Pleco is an attractive pleco with nice striped patterns, they are very peaceful and are great for those who want to start getting into collecting L catfishes. They tend to be very inactive during the day time and more active during the night like most plecos. They also make great addition for any community setup.

Feeding Omnivorous, they will eat some meaty foods, but they prefer algae wafers/ flakes/ nori and vegtables like Zucchini, Cucumber, Lettuce and Spinach.
Gender The males have odontodes on parts of their pectoral fins, and down the back half of his body. The females also tend to have a wider body.
