This is a rare Lake Victorian based cichlid they prefer cave type setups so they can hide when they feel threaten, as well as breeding reasons. They grow to 12 cm and their colour flourishes more as they age they gained their natural blue shapes on the edges while a bright yellow colouration mixed with red is situated on the inner sides. They can become very aggressive towards their tank mates, so make sure the tank mates are fishes who can look after themselves, like other types of Lake Victorian Ciclids. This cichlid is also known as Haplochromis Brownae.
