This breed of Lake Victorian cichlid is also known as the Zebra Obliquidens, they grow to about 14cm and can be kept with Lake Victorian cichlids or other African Cichlids.
This cichlid in the wild is endangered because of its popularity and the pollution in Lake Victoria. They have a distinct red belly which fades to orange and then yellow towards the tail fin. They also have the familiar bars that most cichlids have on the body
