Omnivorous, can take flakes and pellets and occasionally it likes frozen brine shrimp in their diet, as well as a variety of vegetables. |
Males are silvery blue and the females tend to be brown. |
Theyare a very active fish and should be kept with other active fish, because their active nature can disturb the more peaceful and slow fishes. They can also become very aggressive to species of its own kind. |
