Lake Malawi (25)
6 cm: $18.95 (5)
The Chilotilapia Rhoadesii is a hardy fish that thrives in group, and make a really nice addition to a tank that needs schooling fish. The males have a brillient blue shine on their head making them a fairly attractive display fish. They are best kept with less aggressive cichlid but be wary these guys do grow pretty big in the end. Overall a great fish to keep and raise and great for beginners into the world of African Cichlids.
East Africa, Lake Malawi
Cichlid setup, and is best kept in groups and in a tank with lots of caves and coarse bottom substrate.
20 - 27 degrees
Omnivorous, does pretty well with flake and pellets but should be given fresh vegtables now and then in their diet.
