Gender	Males have a metallic blue sheen extending from the snout to the tail with all fins except for the pectoral fins, females are silver and have some yellow through the fins and has has two broken lines of five spots.
Comments	One of the larger Lake Malawi Cichlids, males of this species are usually used as a display fish because of their impressive colours.
